1. About these terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Praxe ("we", "us", "our") and any individual ("you", "the client") who books or receives a service from us.
By booking a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. We may update them from time to time; the version in force at the time of your booking applies.
2. Bookings
- Appointments can be booked online, by phone or in person. Your appointment is confirmed once we have accepted your booking.
- Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your appointment or, in some cases, rebook it so we can keep to our schedule.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as far in advance as possible. Cancellations or changes with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a charge, and repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require a deposit for future bookings.
3. Patch tests and consultations
Some services require a patch test or consultation before your appointment. We will tell you when you book if this applies. A patch test should usually be carried out at least 48 hours before your appointment, and we may be unable to carry out your treatment on the day if it has not been done. For some services a consultation is required to confirm the treatment is suitable for you.
4. Suitability and age restrictions
- We will advise you if we consider a service unsuitable for you. Our advice is based on the information you provide, so please be honest and complete when answering any consultation questions.
- Certain services are not available to anyone under 18. Where an age restriction applies we will confirm it when you book.
- Results vary from person to person, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
5. Prices and payment
- Prices are confirmed when you book. We may occasionally need to change prices, and any change will be confirmed with you before your appointment.
- Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless we have agreed a deposit or pre-payment with you. Gift vouchers and pre-paid packages are non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Our liability
- We carry out our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for any reaction or adverse outcome where aftercare instructions have not been followed, where a required patch test was declined, or where inaccurate information was given at consultation.
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other matter that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at office@praxe.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.
8. Your data
We only use your personal details to manage your appointments and provide our services. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
